Who will succeed in becoming the new face of the WWE?

What works and what does not in WWE?

The main roster of the most famous wrestling company in the world is certainly not poor of the elements that compose it, but often we find ourselves harshly criticizing the overall product. Why are we do it and above all because with so much anger?

As always, before going into detail, if you have any advice or criticism to move, or if you simply want to exchange some opinions, please write to me at aldofiadone@gmail.com; It will be my pleasure to read your word.

It is logical to think how it all began with an evolution of the WWE market, like a normal wrestling company and then an entertainment sport with an "adult" format, and moved on to a practical package for families, especially children. In the recent three-year period, however, there have been further changes that have led the great 'E to confirm itself as the shark of sport business becoming a company capable of making millions and millions of dollars thanks to a couple of shows in Saudi Arabia.

These remain important moves in economic terms, but less beautiful from the point of view of "entertainment" and consequently for the eyes of fans who spend hours of their time every week to view their shows.

Let's take as an example of what happened on Monday Night RAW ...

Roman Reigns had to leave the ring to fight leukemia and only after his forced forfeit did we realize how important it really was. Because as much as I do not like it and as much as I have harshly criticized it "since day one", its bad construction has nevertheless led Joe to become the new face of the WWE; in a forced way, certainly, but he has placed him in the spotlight and now, without the now former champion, we find ourselves in the moment in which we need to build the new face with the fear of not being able to be dignified.

I am one of the few who thinks that Lesnar's victory is right because It is the only figure that must be defeated and therefore the only one who will be "passing of the torch" with the person able to replace him and take the reins of the company, the new face of the WWE.

Braun Strowman is not that face, he had his moments (Great Balls of Fire 2017 and the MITB burned title shot) that the federation chose not to exploit, we can not complain only now that the title was won by a part-timer but (just because it is a part-timer) can take the hatred of the people and further raise his future opponent who will have the honor to defeat him.

Removed this, Strowman is still a great character but does not have the face of "Face of WWE" and then who if not him or Roman?

If I had to make choices that go on the quality of wrestlers and personal tastes, I would define Adam Cole as the next to overturn the hierarchies of the WWE. Cole really has everything, in-ring skill, microphone skill, interesting face, but not the stature thing that good old Vince always love a lot.

Strowman is the big man who went over because he was put against Reigns when the latter was one of the most hated elements of the last decade and, sorry to say (and I already know the vast amount of offenses I get after what I write), but the good "Monster Among Man" is none other than a better Big Show and with different qualities in more (ring on all, microphone thanks to its phrases now become a cult for the public), but it is and still remains a " Big Show ".

Dean Ambrose does not have the qualities to be "The face", has always been managed as the weak link of the Shield and has always been placed as inferior to Rollins and Reigns also in single. These scenarios remain etched in our memories and it is therefore difficult to think of a sample Ambrose if not only and exclusively for a limited period of time that will make way for another subject.

A subject that could turn out to be Seth Rollins who ultimately still has an open parenthesis with the major title. Let's talk clearly, his management as a WWE champion was very good in the first two or three months, then slipped into confusing management until the injury that unfortunately kept him out of the loop for a long time. His feud with Triple H did everything but excite me and the last year and a half I do not think it certainly a fundamental period or growth for the good Seth. Putting aside the performance in the ring (exemplary and indisputable), it has never been really well managed, many times we have seen it sacrificed just to the "brother" Reigns and the thing, despite everything, has never gone down to anyone. Rollins could return to dominate the scene of the main event, but to do so we need a good management that puts aside the blurred parentheses of the past. REDESIGN, REBUILD RECLAIM, this is what you need to start and succeed with him. Make that catchphrase a fact!

Another name that comes back to my mind and which I think is able to transform itself into the aforementioned "Face" is Drew McIntyre. WWE has been working on it for some time and if the work is similar to the one done at Impact Wrestling, the result can only be a success. On the other hand it is there that McIntyre (then known as Drew Galloway) has become in effect a main eventer.

Focusing on him is therefore the winning weapon, the safest to have a mature champion in view of WrestleMania.

Unlike what he believes most of the mass, I think Brock Lesnar will not hold the title for over a year as in his first universal realm. I predict a Lesnar champion up to the Royal Rumble, the right time to bring McIntyre to maturity and to have a Rollins able to store the Ambrose chapter and maybe win the Royal Rumble and then start to push it towards the last step that will lead him victorious in the main event of WrestleMania 35.

Because after all, McIntyre and Rollins are the most capable of competing for this role.

It's my idea and can be defined simply as fantawrestling, but if we think about it, it's really what it takes to make a show like Monday Night RAW appealing and successful. So you do not need to have a champion who defends his title every week, you need a good construction, a package that can make a better superstar of what was yesterday, improve its characteristics, create unprecedented scenarios and thus have the possibility not only be the the number one company in the world in economic terms, but also the best for the material available. Seeing people like Balor, Roode, Lashley, Revival and many others managed like now, is certainly not a good thing, as Crown Jewel, one of the worst events donated by WWE, also testifies.

You can always improve, you can always grow and this is the right time to do it. Starting again now means finding ourselves in a maximum of two years with an excellent RAW connected to an equally excellent SmackDown and maybe see a Reigns that will be appreciated on his return not only because he will have defeated the laukemia (because although I do not like his character and not appreciate the work done so far with him even if not always his fault), but also because he will be able to blend in the best way with the good material in which he will find himself inserted.
